Porsche has challenged the UAEās two Porsche importers to celebrate 20 years of the Cayenne with many, many off-road mods.
Porsche Centre Dubai and the Northern Emirates and Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi each bought four first-gen Cayennes apiece, and set about modifying them for the kind of asphalt-less activities theyāre known for in that part of the world.
The eight-strong line-up features a spread of E1s from 2007 to 2010, with the many accessories supplied from the Porsche Classic catalogue.
As you can see from the gallery above, weāre talking all-terrain tyres, spotlights, graphics, jacked-up suspension and underbody protection. Thereās even a ladder-accessed roof tent on show; not many hotels in the desert, after all.
Oh, and these cars got 25 and 30mm spacers on the front and rear wheels respectively with tubular bumper bars for an altogether tougher look.
